Going to a Braves baseball game for the first time in years this summer.....have been to nearly 100 live games in my life and have sat out in the boonies to right behind the plate in playoff games ( never been to a WS game though) and

NEVER EVER, paid more than 50 for a ticket.....

Lo and behold , while there are still plenty of seats for less than $50, virtually ALL the good seats run 100+ these days....are people really paying this much for baseball?

Went to some Braves games last year . Truist park is phenomenal.
Would suggest getting some seats in the chop house .
They will run about $250 each unless they are playing someone like the Mets . If they are playing a high profile team you can double that .

But we’ll worth it

Lol.

"I have never paid more than $50." Gets the response of "only paying $250 plus will do!"

Seems like someone couldn't help themselves but to use you for a lightly disguised brag.

Are there still hard ticket scalpers at the Braves games or has everything gone digital?

It was weird to go to the Sugar Bowl and not see the bevy of scalplers doing bidness ........
I didnt notice if there were any at the Smoothie King/ Pelicans game.

Kind of sucks as they provide a great service and have provided me umpteen deals over the years.

I couldn't pay more than $20 to watch a 9 inning baseball game...

1. Usually in the dog days of summer
2. Always someone around me that should not be alive
3. There is action about every 20-25 minutes if that so when something happens I will likely be staring at some skank wondering why she is with that loser.
4. Went to a minor league game with a girl years ago; ran into some guys I went to hs with. They try to hit on her and tell her some old stories about me.
I bet your a lotta fun at parties ?

Had to do a little more research on this to see if there was a reason otherwise BUT nope it is basiscally

"Hey Dumb white people with too much money, we gonna take some of the worst seats in the house BUT put them outside a restaurant and then charge you 4x as much to sit there and you gonna like it"

Chop House Club at Truist Park

Features & Amenities

The Chop House at Truist Park is located in right field near sections 156-160 and 259. Fans looking to party and have a good time, but not necessarily take in every pitch of the game, will enjoy sitting in these seats.
A large restaurant/bar offers a great area for socializing, and the stool seating with table ledges furthers the comparison to being at an outdoor pub while watching the MLB's finest.
The neighboring Home Run Porch seating options offer great amenities for the kids, but the Chop House seats were certainly built with the adults in mind.
Chop House Club Seating and Views
Seating is composed of three different types:
  • Chop House Terrace is the largest seating option in sections 156-160. Each section has 5 rows that are high top bar-style seating with chairbacks. Furthermore, each seat will have a built-in cupholder in the table, so fans will always have a place to put their drinks.
  • Chop House Deck is labeled as section 259. Seating is a single row of 20 seats located on top of the restaurant.
  • Below the Chop is located underneath the terrace sections and is typically reserved for group outings. Fans will look through the outfield fence to the field of play.

Views from the Chop House
The view from the outfield is not as good as seats near the dugouts, but sitting in the Chop House Club is one of the most unique experiences at Truist Park.
The biggest draw of sitting in the club is being able to enjoy the game from the restaurant and bar. While these seats might not have the best view, they are definitely one of the best places to socialize, party, and catch a homerun ball at a Braves game.
Please note: Due to health and safety protocols in 2023, food availability, club access, wait service and other amenities are subject to change without notice.
Note: These seats are highlighted on the map

Candlestick park hasn’t boasted a baseball game in over 20 years. Do you mean where the giants play now ?

Chophouse is a great place to watch a game . Comes with 3 free drinks . The cup holders are electric to keep your drinks cold . Full restaurant menu and wait staff the entire game
And the view is fine .
